Consistency Leads to Success
2/7/12 •Being consistent is one of the most important parts that determine if you will stay on track with your training and ultimately reach your fitness goals. Too often we see people start a training regimen and by week two they are already creating excuses to skip the workout. Make it a point that however many days you plan on working out that you really try to keep to it. You also have to remember that your going to have good days and bad days, not every day you train will be your best workout ever, but you have to make sure that you give it your all each and every day.
I get to train a lot of people and as you can imagine, they all have different strengths and weaknesses when it comes to training, but the most successful ones tend to be the ones that stick to the game plan and stay on track. If we decide its best to have them train 5 days a week, then they are there; ready to go, 5 days a week. If you’re solely focused on weight loss, you have to expect some discouraging times. It’s not all going to just fall off without staying consistent with your training, working hard every time, and making smarter decisions when it comes to your nutrition. Usually the weight didn’t just appear one day, so it cant just disappear the next, it took time to get to your current situation and it will take some time to get where you want to be.
Consistency across the board is one of the best recommendations I can give to people looking to make a great transformation. Once you make the decision for change, don’t half ass it, stick to your schedule and push yourself further everyday.
